Downers Grove voters will face one question about new village hall

Downers Grove voters will face only one ballot question related to construction of a new village hall, passing on a proposal to add questions to the April ballot.

Council members decided Tuesday that it will survey residents following the April election to gain information about why they voted the way they did on the cost question and what they like or don’t like about the proposal to build a new village hall and other facilities.

The question already on the April 7 ballot will ask voters if they approve of the village spending $46 million or more on building new facilities.
